Ashley House
Ashley House is a magnificent Italianate Villa which was built in 1876 by timber merchant, Washington Spence, as his own home. It comprises six bedrooms, two bathrooms, two receptions, kitchen with dining room, utility room and wine cellar.
In 2007 Ashley House was carefully restored to its former glory by Mango Homes. The restoration project was covered by TV programme BBC Homes Live. The house was featured in March 2008 Yorkshire Life Magazine and appeared in the Sunday Times.
