Mango Homes was established in 1999 by solicitor, Phil Bradby, and surveyor Kevin Kennedy with the objective of restoring unique historic buildings.
Mango's first project was the creating of ten houses at Mayroyd Mill in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. All homes were sold off-plan and the project was awarded by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
This was followed by the development of Melbourne Mill and the restoration of a derelict hamlet, Trowan, near St Ives in Cornwall. In 2006, Mango went on to win the prestigious Insider Rennaisance award for the first phase of its development at Pecket Well Mill.
Today, Mango continues working with historic buildings, in particular developing plans for the Abbey Warehouse in Penzance.
