Upon graduating from Leeds University in 1992 Philip Bradby trained as a solicitor with international law firm Clyde & Co in London where he specialised in property law. Upon qualification in 1994 he spent 6 years working as Head of Legal for the motor holding group Lookers plc in Manchester. He left Lookers plc in 2000 to lecture Law at Nottingham Law School while also establishing the company Mango Homes.

Mango Homes was established by Philip Bradby to progress his interest in restoring interesting historic buildings and has now worked on buildings all over the UK and in Europe including three derelict Yorkshire textile mills, a Cornish waterfront warehouse, an abandoned mining hamlet and a number of Victorian and Georgian Houses.
